Installation

Fifteen minutes, five steps, no tools.

The Starter Edition arrives fully assembled. You don't need a builder, a plumber, or a friend with a van.

Before it arrives

  • Choose a level spot on a patio, decking, or gravel. Roughly 70 × 45 cm of ground clearance.
  • Locate the nearest outdoor-rated 3-pin socket. Extension leads over 5m are not recommended.
  • Have 12 litres of tap water and a jug ready.

The five steps

  1. Delivery. The courier will place the box at your front door.
  2. Unbox. Cut the tape and lift the unit clear of the cardboard insert.
  3. Place. Walk it to its spot. Two people is easiest; one is possible.
  4. Fill. Pour 12 litres into the top reservoir. Add the starter brine sachet.
  5. Switch on. Plug in. Mist begins within 60 seconds.

Winter and storms

The wall is fully weatherproof, but in a hard frost we recommend draining the reservoir. In gale-force winds, move the wall against a solid boundary or take it under cover.
